The CGBIBT Infrastructural facility features hi-tech lecture rooms over 40 PCs, 20 MBPS Wi Fi Internet Connection, Video Conferencing, hi-tech Seminar rooms, plus Central library facility encompasses large collection books, journals and magazines with extensive reading hall.

The physical infrastructure i.e. the building and other civil works are as per the UGC requirements. The total build up area per student and the total built up area for the existing programme are given below:

• Available Built up area per student: 8.70 Sq. Mt.
• Total Built up Area for the existing programme(s) : 3613.9 Sq. Mt.

Class Rooms :

Class rooms are also well designed and furnished with latest educational aids and tools. This includes in-built audio-visual aids, overhead projectors (OHP) and LCD that help in the learning process:

Laboratory :

The institute has set up 14 state of art laboratories with dedicated facilities UG as well PG students for obtaining practical exposure to pure as well as applied biology. These includes chemistry, physics, biology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, genetic engineering & molecular biology, bioprocess technology, analytical chemistry, environment biotech, plant biotech and cell and tissue culture laboratory. Well equipped laboratories meet the industrial standards:

Central Instrumentation Room :

The instrumentation room with all sophisticated instruments such as Electrophoresis Unit, PCR, Gel Doc, Fermentor, Refrigerated Centrifuge, Microfuge, Laminar Air flow, Flame photometer UV Visible Spectrophotometer, Phase Contrast Microscope, Inverted Microscope, Binocular Microscope etc.

Central Library and Computer facility :

The Institute houses a library with a present collection of more than 1200 books and 20 national and international journals and 17 periodicals. It also shares the information resources with the central facility of education campus - Gopalvidhyanagar. The following figures show the details of collection of books and journals in the library:

Computers, Networks and Communication systems

The institute has 30 terminals in the Computer lab for the students to work on. With the growing need of the computers in every sector, the students are given adequate exposure to the same. The computer lab that is connected with the central network through internet and intranet. The campus gives thrust to the use of IT and prepares the students for the global challenges. With this in view, a Wireless Information and Networking Cell (WIN Cell) have been formed to look after the campus networking, the internet facilities, computer laboratories and campus data and information management. This helps the students with the communication tools to maintain information flow from global sources.

Hostel :

The Boys Hostel is an in-campus hostel with state of the art facility for 250 boys with 24 hours wi-fi connectivity and homely atmosphere strengthening the feeling of belonging.

Girls hostel is located in Bardoli campus. Both hostels have canteen and mess.

Transport :

The institute provides its own bus facility from Bardoli to college campus at convenient timings covering all major places of the city.
