• Congratulations!! Dr. Giftson J Senapathy, Asst. Professor - CGBIBT, UTU has received the 'Best Oral Presentation Award for Research' in the 'International Conference on Phytomedicine-2018', 29th-31st August, 2018 at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

  Dr. Giftson J Senapathy, Assistant Professor, CGBIBT has received the award for the 'BEST ORAL PRESENTATION' for presenting his research work entitled 'Sensitizing, immunomodulatory and chemoprotective effects of the polyphenol Ferulic acid on cancer chemotherapy in cell lines and Xenografted mice' in the 'International Conference on Phytomedicine' held at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore between August 29-31 , 2018.

  Around 285 delegates including scientists, professors, industrial personnels, Post-docs and research scholars from premier institutions of India and abroad attended the 3 days conference and presented their research works. There were around 202 - oral presentations, 139- poster presentations, 8 Plenary lectures and 20 - lead lectures on their individual research. Some of the notable speakers of the conference were,
